I bought one because my cousin said i needed it to play BF2. If it good enough or do I need better, he said it was the cheapest one I could get. I also ordered the collectors edition funcpad and a radpad, he said they were also required,BF2 looks really fun and I hope I can play it with my setup. Can i?

Yea... wut he said lol
You can use any mouse to play any game...
The top 3 are MX1000, MX518, and Razer. Your choice is really more or less personal preference since they all are fantastic.
Why would you buy 2 mousepads? And idk if your just saying it wrong, but if you cousin said those things are required to play a computer game... he's dumb.
You could tear it up theoreticly with a MS Ball mouse, and a piece of notebook paper :D

Yeah you really don't need any type of mouse or keyboard to play the game. What you need is some good stuff inside your computer!

I agree, getting 100 mice and mousepads is'nt going to help you one bit, you should have spent it on some new parts for the inside of your computer.

Never listen to your cousin again.
It'll work. But you didn't need any of that.

not too hard considering almost everyone I have played with is too interested in TKing the dude that just hopped into the plane before they did...or the guy who is running to the plane/helo they want.

lol, just kidding guys. But I did order all that stuff, anybody have the CE func, i bought it off impulse and hopefully its the luxury it cost me. I want Func/Rat to determine for myself what I like and I will let my friends borrow the other when they come over to lan. and the mx1000 is sweet btw. got the 3100mx desktop set. Does the keyboard bottleneck the mouse at all using one wireless connection? I used the usb vs the ps/2 connectors, does that matter either?

IDK about CE, I had a ratzpad (wears out mad fast!), tehn switched to FuncPad about a year ago. No plans on making any changes in near future, so thats a good thing

I don't think it comes anywhere near close to filling the usb bandwidth ;)

This reminds me heavily of the threads when doom 3 came out, stuff like:
"IS MY CHAIR GOOD ENOUGH FOR DOOM3?"
"Is my desk good enough for doom3?"
"Is my choice of toilet tissue good enough for the matter that will come out of me after playing doom3?"
(Ok, the first 2 i remember, the third i made up)
