I need to get a hold of some older memory but I havent had any luck. I need 128mb,256mb or 512mb of PC100 SDRAM. Its for the compaq deskpro in my sig.
I bought a stick of Kingston 256MB PC133 which was supposed to be backwards compatible but it wouldnt work. I guess it has to be PC100. Also if you have some to sell, let me know. Thanks.

supply and demand...

check out the FS/FT trade forums, some one is likely selling some PC100 in some form or another.

The problem with PC100 is that it's pretty much phased out. Not a single new system will ever use it, so I wouldn't be surprised if production has stopped/nearly stopped.
