trying to get exchange 2000 installed on a win2K server, which is running as a virtual pc.
I am logged in as Administrator, and the server is a PDC, with DNS and Active Directory setup, as far as I know, correctly.
When I try to install exchange, i get the following error:
The Microsoft Exchange Forest Preperation cannot be assigned the action "Install" because:
Either you do not have permission to update the Active Directory Schema, or The Active Directory Service is too busy.
This is a single standalone server...no way the AD service is too busy, and I am the Administrator. What else could be going on?
[EDIT]
Never mind, the remote registry service was not running.
