XP installation problem

I'm attempting to install Win XP on pci raid 0 array and after installing the raid controller drivers from a diskette, XP proceeds to copy the setup files.

As soon as it finishes copying the files XP either hangs at "starting installation" or gives me an error page with the the following error: "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area". (Note: this also happens if I try installing xp on a single drive rather than setup as an array),

I'm using an asus a7v8x-x, western digital serial raid controller and two seagate 80 gig sata drives.

that error is usually a memory error. Try some different ram.

Run memtest on your system first, before you get rid of the memory.
