this is my first install of an os to a sata drive (74gb raptor). during the install i hit f6 to load my driver, but there was one hitch...there were 3 intel sata related drivers listed to choose from, so i just had to pick one  one ended with ER, 2 with FR, then one had AHCI in it. in the bios under sata mode selection there are listed: ide, ahci, and raid. since i am not using raid that leaves the other 2 modes.

the install went well. i booted to xp, install chipset drivers, video, lan, and audio drivers. i go to device manage to check on my harddrive to see how it is listed and it is listed as:

Inte(R) 82801FB Ultra ATA Storage Controllers-2652

my question is is this normal. do all sata drives show as such under windows, or did i maybe install the wrong drver during the f6 phase?

Thanx in advance.
