Hey guys, I am fed up with my twin 80 gig sata maxtors now, I have tried reformating them blah blah blah..and they work, but after everything seems good, a few restarts and they get corrupted again..I am running my system @ stock now..my mobo does have agp/pci locks..blahblah..anyways.can someone recommend me a good 120gig or more non maxtor SATA drive.....I am willing to pay 80ish....maybe 100 if needed,....my new parts came..psu/cpu HSF etc..and I cant test them out b/c I can get into windows..blah..

for around 80 bux i'd recommend a 160gb samsung sata drive. they are very quiet and pretty quick, the only thing is that samsung does not offer advanced rma replacement if your drive fails. other options are 120-160 gig entries from wd, seagate, and maxtor.
