Anyone know where I can actually find these drives? I have gotten rid of all my raptors to switch everything over to SATA II and these seem to be the drives to get but damned if I can find anyone who has them. I don't care if they are the 160 or 250GB Models. Newegg had them listed but Out of Stock and now they are gone from their page completely. If anyone else has any ideas on different drives (I am looking for performance I don't care about noise as my Netserver makes so much noise that I can't hear anything in here) then I am all ears. Not too keen on Maxtor drives as I literally have a stack (20-30) of them that died about 13 months into their life (of course that was when they made everything 1 year warranty) but will maybe give them another chance if the price/performance makes sense. All I really care about is SATA II and NCQ as far as specs and a minimum of 160GB drive space. Thanks in advance

Trey

As I post this, ZipZoomfly has both the 160GB (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=100592-2) and 250GB (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=100594-2) in stock, ready to go.

Many recommend ZZF as a great place to buy hard drives with superb packing and shipping. I myself can verify this - I get all of my customer HDDs from them after having a Raptor come DoA from Newegg, and have never had a HDD come DoA since.

ZZF has been good to me as well. Their OEM drive packaging was the drive (in antistatic bag) in a foam box inside the regular box with packing material. I'm used to bubble-wrapped drives, but this suprised me (pleasantly).
3 days from order to my doorstep, just like 'egg.

I second what the two posters above said.
I brought a Hitachi T7K250 (the SATA1 model @ 250gigs) a couple of weeks ago for $127 shipped at Zipzoomfly
and it works great, reasonable heat and not very noisy.

The drive came in a foam box that looks like a little coffin.

I also have an older 200gig Hitachi purchased a year ago and have had no problems with it.
