I was wondering if any one knows how to fix, or has had this problem. My computer runs stable and has no problems, it's just that the other day when I went to upgrade my Catalyst drivers, I tried to boot into safe mode so I could use Drive Cleaner. I hit the F8 button and selected safe mode and then the screen that shows which drivers are being loaded comes up and then all of the sudden it reboots. I have tried all the safe mode options and it still just reboots.
My computer specs.:
K8N Neo Platinum MS-7030
Athlon 64 3200+ (754)
Thermalright XP-90 w/ Thermaltake 90mm SilentCat fan
1 GB Crucial Ballistix DDR PC3200 • 2-2-5-2 1T
Vantec Stealth 520W PS
Maxtor 200GB ATA 133 HD
Abit Radeon 9600 NP 256megs OC'd to 486 core 330 mem
Rosewill 16x DL DVD burner

I had the same prob when I had that board.

When you boot hit "escape" (I think) to bring you to the boot device screen and select your C:/ as soon as you select it hit the F8 button. You have to do it fast... ;)

if your computer is auto-rebooting during a safe-mode boot it is because it crashed and is set to auto-reboot on crash (default setting)... probably due to a bad driver or something
