I just put together my computer.

A64 3000+
Foxconn PCI-e motherboard
512 generic pc3200
etc...

I get to the blue screen where it says Windows Setup. It tell me to push F6 if I want to install RAID Drivers (don't need to) and then it starts loading the setup.

All of a sudden, still in the setup blue screen, I get:

isapnp.sys is corrupt

push any key to restart your computer
So I rebooted and tried again. It did it's stuff like mentioned before and this is what it said this time.

mountmgr.sys is corrupt

push any key to restart your computer

What could I do to resolve my problem and get XP installed?

Thanks.

Is the cd scratched? If it finds corrupt files, the cd or the drive is the problem. Maybe the ram?

Pretty sure it isn't the RAM... was just working in another system

CD seem to be fine. I used it on another computer a while ago... it worked fine.

I don't understand how I got two different errors, two different times...

I'll go try again... and again. :p

Thanks... keep the help coming.

I'm gonna guess its one of three things.

1. Memory
2. Improperly plugged in cables. (Loose)
3. Flaky Power Supply

3. Brand new 350w Antec but maybe.

Thanks.

I just tried it again and got usbhub.sys is corrupted.

I'm thinking that there is something wrong with the CD or drive.
