Well I just built my computer, I installed windows, booted up then installed the drivers for the sound and video card. After that i downloaded steam, and css. i restared my computer aftter that and i keep getting the blue scree. It roughly says that hardwarechanges could of caused this. But i just booted up with the minimum 1 stick of ram mobo cpu key board monitir and mouse but it still hapens. And it also wont let me reinstall windows.
here are my specs
abit av8 motherboard
amd 3200+ not oced yet
1 gig of crucial balistic memory
300 gb maxtor hdd

Try without overclocking and run memtest or whatever memory diagnostic program you want for a couple of hours, also watch your cpu temperature.

it isnot overclo0cked now, but i took the hardrive out and i am remormating it on another computer as we speek.

The FIRST thing you do after a format is install current Motherboard / Chipset Drivers...

Did you do this first?

And-Or Windows Update. Frequent bluescreens tell me it's either a bad PSU or bad RAM. But, the RAM is checked easier. Download
Memtest86 (http://www.memtest86.com/#download0) and check your RAM. If that doesn't give any errors, then I suspect your power supply.

Blue screening can also be caused by a bad drive, may want to run a disk check on it if nothing else pans out.

i updated everything, it was a bad program i nstalled.
