Well as far as a favor, was going ask if someone could compress their wine files and send them to me cause i cant get my wine configured properly. I tried wine documentation along with several other wine oriented sites, also i think im missing some crucial files in my wine directories. So if you would be so kind as to send me your wine files i would be very happy :), also if you are nice enough to hook me up, do any of you have it set-up so as that steam is working cause thats really what im trying to configure. Would go cedega but that cost money which is in the top 10 reasons why i switched to linux, so anyways if you could i would be very thankful to somebody who might compress their files and send it to me.

follow my directions in your other thread then run 'urpmi wine'. That will get you a functioning official MDK wine package. I don't know if the particular version of wine we shipped with 10.0 plays nice with Steam though, sorry. You may have to build a newer version from source. You would have to do that yourself, though, unless you can find someone else who runs the same version of MDK as you. The wine on the system of a Gentoo user is not likely to help you much at all.
