2nd samsung sp1614c came today. The only part i'm confused about is how to setup the jumpers on the HD's?
do i wana set them both as masters? 1 slave and 1 master? use cable select? or do i even need to use jumper?
search, read the sticky and my mobo manual and didn't find anything helpful.

You don't set SATA drives as master or slave.
If you're using IDE drives then you would want to set each drive as master and put them on their own channel for best performance.
EDIT: Also, keep in mind when you create a RAID0 array you will lose all data currently on the drives. You'll have to backup any data off your current drive if you don't want to lose it when you set up the array.

huh.. so i don't need jumpers... no wonder why the manual did say anything about it, nor did the HD come with any.

Nope, no jumpers needed. Since you can only use 1 SATA connector per drive, there is no need.
