Best 7200rpm SATAII drive out there?

I think I'm torn between the Hitachi and the Seagate. Both get respectible marks at Storagereview.com.

Anybody have a preference?

I believe Hitachi hd's are faster but the Seagate drives have 5 year warranty and are the quietest

From my experience, the Hitachi's have always been slightly higher performers than the Seagates, but are dead quiet. Either drive is within a few 10ths of a point so I dont think you can go wrong with either. Hitachi has slightly better price/gb ratio, seagate has the 5 year warranty. Then again, hitachi has 3 years.
