Are HDD's just as sensitive to a static charge as mobo's..?

Are hardrives super sensitive to static like mobo's are? I went ahead and put my HDD's inside my case ahead of time, and was on carpet when i installed them too. But how sensitive are they?

You should be fine as long as you weren't poking around on the PCB.

and PCB stands for...? (sorry, i'm new to this) I tried not to be too grabby you know, and i definitely didn't set them down on the carpet

Printed Circuit Board - the green thing on the underside of the hard drive.

Don't worry about it, hard drives have survived far worse situations :)
