i need some help. i'm trying to install a new copy of windows xp onto a raid 0 array. i have everything in the bios setup correctly (as far as i know) and i have created a striped array with the nvidia bios setup utility. i have also created an unattended/slipstreamed copy of windows xp with the nvidia raid drivers already loaded on the disk.

the problem is that when windows setup gets to the point where i select the partition to install to, it shows both of my hard drives separately instead of as one big drive (which it should show because it's a raid 0 array, right?).

i tried to install into a partition on the primary drive anyway, which it proceeds to do. then when it reboots to go into the gui portion of setup, it says it can't find any system drives and halts the installation.

does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on with this?

I belive you're supposed to select the "other" option when it asks you what method you'd like to install with. Then you need to insert the raid driver disk in your floppy and it should take it from that.

i don't have a floppy drive. that's why i made the unattended windows xp disk. it loads the nvidia drivers automatically. anybody have any ideas?
