Driver Issue?

I just got a Fuji FinePix A340, and when I hook it via USB to my XPH SP2 PC, It shows up as an unknown device. Could this be driver related, or did I get a defective Cam? When I go to device manager, I see it under USB, Its named unknown device. I know that this is the Cam because when I unplug it, the unknown device entry goes away. I really want to get this to work, can somebody help me?

That's likely a driver issue. I commonly see "Install the CD before you plug in the device" type warnings. Have you installed the disk?

Try opening the unknown device, update the drive and have the CD in at the time so it checks there for the driver.

If that doesn't work, check the manufacturer's website for additional information/drivers/downloads.

I have the software installed also. When I try to update the devices driver, it cant find any, not even on the cd. I looked all over the web and cant find anything, I'm starting to get frustrated now.
