Well i went ahead and installed sp2, and i got to say, i'm not overly impressed with it. Outlook Express takes 4ever to load and my web pages don't load near as fast as what they use too. Anyways thats minor stuff, the big problem i got is that sense i installed sp2 i can't look at any of my pics on my system. When i tries to open a pic, i get this " This application has failed to start becasue gdiplus.dll was not found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem" and after i hits ok on that error i get this one " Error loading C:\window\system32\Shimgvw.dll the specified module could not be found" and thats what i get. Can anyone tell me what the deal is?? Thanks

You likely had problems on the system that SP2 exposed, just so you know SP2 isn't broken. By that I mean, if you formatted, and installed it clean you wouldn't have problems (not that I'm recommending formatting, just giving an example).

Anyways, the error is pretty simple, the DLL is either not found, or corrupt. You likely need to reinstall the software your using to open the pic. What is that software?

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=gdiplus.dll

I'm sure your situation will apply to one of the answers.

It should explain that in those sites....but

Mine is in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11

I would put yours in the main office system folder.
