Do you let it just sit there in your cd rack, do you sell it on ebay/forums or do you go to eb games or somewhere the like and trade it in for credit?

For the most part I sell/trade my computer games in.
Why let them sit on the shelf when I know I most likely will not reinstall? I can play through a game in a few hours and sell it for about $5-10 less than I bought it for and go get another :)

I rack them, I just don't have the heart to sell them.
I don't even uninstall them from my computer. When I'm bored I run through them and play them now and then. In fact I just played Tomb Raider 2 last night.

When they no longer work with the OS I trash them. Chasm: the Rift and A-10 Tank Killer 2 were 2 good games gone the way of the doodoo cause of that.

i revisit 'em from time to time.

Just playing through lots of ~2002 games lately, w/ all effects on (my comp back in the day couldn't do it) and they are purty compared to what I remember. . . :-D

Plus, as we all know, gfx != gameplay and true classics never go out of style.

Its rare I actually finish a game, and if I do its gotta be a great game. They usually end up in my cd rack collecting dust way before I finish them. I like to keep the games just incase I get the desire to play through them again. I learned my lesson with the original Max Payne, after I played through the game (and loved every second of it) I sold it. Just recently I had a huge craving to play through it again and now I don't have it :(

Any idea if GameStop takes em? Or any other store?

I lack the use of a credit card, they just get me into trouble.

Normally i just shelve my pc games and then replay them in about six months or if they have semi fun multiplayer i play that everyonce and a while. Like CoD.
As for console games, unless it's a really really good game or a game that in a series i like, i normally sell 'em.

Due to copyright laws and restraints, Gamestop, EB and other stores are not allowed to take in PC games for credit or money.

EB still does it however. At least the one near me. I'd never buy a PC game preowned if it had a multiplayer component however.

Most of my games makes the rounds in my group of friends. We all just pass games along once we've beaten them. Once we're all done? It usually ends up sitting in a pile at a someone's house until they clean up. Should probably look into the eBay thing....

I tend to replay games, or give them to friends for their b-days or whatnot...

I hang on to them. Some I replay, others I just keep 'cause, well, I dunno', I just do.

I will replay them sometime in the future when I get bored, and sometimes replay it again if the game was good enough for that. After that, it sits on my shelf and collects dust. I've saved every single game from back when I had my first computer(486/66 DX2 with a whopping 8 mb of system memory, and a Cirrus Logic VESA slot video card with 512kb of video memory). I have just about every game released by Epic Megagames, Apogee/3DRealms, and so on. I've got at least 80 computer games, to a point where i'm now stacking them in my closet. I honestly can't wait till Duke Nukem Forever comes out, as I can't believe it's taking so long. Latest game purchase to get added to my collection is Medal of Honor Pacific Assault..............

How much percentage-wise do you get back from EB?

I usually just shelve my pc games, but i'm planning to sell the majority of them in forums soon . I would rather collect dvds than pc games. If the game has good replay value, good multiplayer, or a good story I won't sell it.

Same. I'll prolly keep HL2 for CS, but I have a ton of other classic PC games and such that are just collecting dust. I wouldn't mind selling them all and getting WoW,

Mine does too. The comment was bunk.

This is what I do. I am too lazy to sell them. I do however sell console games when they are actually worth something and if not, I just keep them and suck up the loses.

I keep them thinking one day I will go back to it, which rarely happens. Then, when time has passed and the game is worthless, I give it away to family or friends (I've got like 20 cousins below the age of 13, they love my old games)

used to sell them or trade them (say...3-4 years ago) now I don't. Realize that some day PERHAPS I'll want to go back and play again (looking around for my copy of Bladerunner :(* ) So if the game is good enough I'll keep it just to be part of my collection. Unless it sucks and *knock on wood* I haven't bought a REALLY bad game in a long time, I say keep it and be safe rather than spend 40-50 on a game...sell it back to the store only to help them out (they give ya like 5-7 bucks for it and resell it for 30)

Heh, I'm reinstalling my Morrowind GOTY atm. :p

I want to try out making a mage, and I want to become a werewolf.
