Removing users from the local admin group across a domain

Does anyone know of a good way to remove users from the local admin group on their computer remotely and in mass? We have about 250 Windows 2000 computers that were set up incorrectly and each user is in the local admin group of their machine. Rather than touching each system, I was wondering if there was a way to automate mass removals.
