Hello all:

If anyone has any issues getting RAID to work with an SLI system let me know. It took me five hours last night to figure out what my problem was and then to solve it. But now, I just finished installed WinXP for the first time and it went without a hitch. Now it is time to get to configuring this thing. What do you guys usually install first? Service Packs/Pathches first I know this much. But then should I load the latest nForce and nVidia graphics drivers, then antivirus, then apps (Photoshop, Studio MX, etc.), then games? How do you guys usually go about this for the best result/performance?

Thanks.

Well I thought everything was running smoothly but now I have a strange problem. On my Raptor RAID array which is where the OS is installed the only way the computer will boot is if the WinXP CD is in the CD ROM if I remove it then it gives me an NTLDR missing error.

Any ideas?

make sure your system is Memtest86 stable and run a full test on both of your hard drives, then reinstall and check back

Is this normal?

I found that Windows decided to install the boot information on my 400GB Seagate. I didn't ask it to but it did anyways. So if I set the Seagate as my first boot device everything works, but shouldn't this be on the Raptors?
