everything is delayed

im on the computer in my sig, running windows XP pro. and all of a sudden everything i do is delayed. like if i click on any windows folders or any programs it takes at least 1 minute or more to open. i did a spyware sweep and everything..anyone kno whats going on?

Two Questions:

1-From Taskmanager can you see anything ?

2-Is you DiskDrive working full blast ?

Also, see if the Task Schedular Service is not disabled ??..This service also regulate Prefething function, which speed up things a lot.
