Hi,
I won a copy of Server 2003 at a recent event, but I have no use for it. It is marked as a Promotional Sample Not for Resale. I listed it on eBay, but it was quickly canceled by eBay. I was under the impression that NFR was for a store such as circuit city to know not to put it on the shelf. I obviously do not want to get involved with legal issues, but want to know what I can and can’t do with this software. I was hoping that if I could not sell it, I could trade it for something, say a video card or whatever. Is this allowed? Any help would be appreciated. :)

NFR means Not For Retail sale, meaning you can't sell it. Trading for something else is still questionable since you would be placing a "value" on the trade.
