Hi all,

I just built my new PC and it is much quieter than my old 4 x 80mm POS case hehe. This is an Antec p160 running 2 x 120mm Vantec Stealth, Antec NeoPower, Geforce 6800gt, and A64 3200 90nm.

My idle cpu temp is around 55C (but i don't htink that is correct) and my load gets up to 60 something. I want to install an XP-90 to lower the temps but I don't want this thing to get loud. Which fans would you guys suggest or are my temps fine? I am using old AS3 that I had from a few years back...should I just get AS5 now? Thanks in advance.

I agree completely. That is the set-up I am using myself (XP-90 + Panaflo M1A ).

My mistake, Idle is around 40C..the MSI Core Center reports the temp all weird...I went into the BIOS and it seems more in line with what it should be. Question is I have read that the Pananflo doesn't report correct fan speed in the bios or something like that.
I read it somewhere here but for the life of me can't find it in the search function.

Finally, is the panaflow quiet?

panaflo's are wicked quiet for the air they move, the m1a's can be 7v'd to make them dead silent if desired

rpm sensing is not neccisary at all... but panaflo's have it.. never hered of anyone having a bad comment about panaflo's other then tornados/deltas move more air

theres also those silentx idiots(imo) that doesnt know how to 5v or 7v a fan or use a fan controller so they have fans that are pernimently slow...

Thanks! Just ordered everything from jab-tech.com as they had everything in stock. Yay!

What kind of temps should I be seeing on an A64 3200 90nm, not OC'ed, on an MSI Neo2 Platinum?
