I have a Soltek SFF A64-w/ 3200+ processor in it. I mainly use the computer for lan parties. I would like to find a way to lighten my load ie get rid of the 50 lbs. 19" monitor.

I had this crazy idea of mounting an LCD screen to the top of the case, and make it so it can flip up like a laptop. I know the screen would have to be small, but I am having troubles finding a screen that would fit my case.

The dimensions of the top of the case are: 8" Wide X 13" Long.

Does anyone know of a LCD screen that would fit this???

Please help wanna be modder in need

Have you looked at the Playstation lcds? Dont they flip up from the PS? You can probably adapt the hinge to your case so that it will work.

Just get a 7" LCD monitor from Lilliput or Xenarc. They are ready to go in the sense that they are enclosed and feature the controller and inverter boards. You just need to connect VGA or whatever interface you'd like. Search Google and you'll see what I mean.

get a 15" LCD and mount it lengthwise on the case via hinges so it flips up and then back down whenever you want. :D

well a 15" would be a novel idea, it would have to be a widescreen one because the case is more or a rectangle than a square.

I was looking for something bigger than a 7" screen as well.

Does anyone know of a widescreen 15" LCD screen?

rather than putting it on hinges have it slide up from inside of your case. this way you could use a bigger monitor and it would be protected more during transit (important if your going to be going to lots of LAN's) :D
