NFSU 2 Steering wheel probs

Just d/l the demo (i know i'm late) and in the wheel options menu, there isn't a selection for stering, just throttle, shift up, shift down, etc. But no steering! What gives? I've looked through everything I could think of and still haven't found it. I looked on EA's site, and there were a couple of threads where people asked the same question, but no answers.....

I'm stumped.
