I'll be as clear as I'm sure someone can help me out.
Question 1: My system asks me to choose from 2 installed win2k OSes when i only have 1
Ok at restart my system gives me a prompt to choose which operating system I would like to use. This only began to happen when I installed 2 versions of windows 2k on 2 different drives because 1 drive was giving me problems and I needed to save the data. But the after saving the information I wanted I now only have 1 version of win 2k running. I know that I can setup it up in start up & recovery to start up in the system I would like it to but I have formatted both of my harddrives various times but at each fresh installation on only 1 of them it continues to asks me to choose which win2k system I would like to use when I only have 1 version installed. How do I stop this?
1 Drive is a 60 GB IBM Deskstar
1 Drive is a 20 GB Seagate Barracuda
Question 2: You Should Not See Me
Ok, I do not use Internet Explorer because I am aware of the constant spyware that is easily installed through MSIE. I use firefox and it has never given me a problem. I began noticing some issues with me using dail up. For starters the process svchost.exe seems to be hogging about 100% of my CPU. It is also running multiple instances 3 are currently running on my system. As a result as anyone can imagine this has brought my system to a snail's crawl. BUT, and there is always a but, it only happens when I'm online. Gee what a surprise. Also get these strange pops up that are not part of a browser, but a separate program all together. So how can find this evil system hogging sucker and erase it? What honest genuine software can I use to pinpoint this virus? The only reason I found it was when I logged out to reboot I got a "program not responding" window and the program running was called You should not see me
I honestly I've never really had to deal with any of these issues that to me should be solved with little to no effort at all. Sorry I'm a Mac guy and the only reason I'm have a PC really is because of games. I don't wanna do a commercial for Apple so I won't. Any help would be great guys.

problem 1
there is a file on c:/ called boot.ini just edit out the offending line and that will stop happening.
make sure you delete the right one though :)
problem 2
i can only suggest running an anti spyware program anyways, you can get spyware through kazaa, irc etc as well as internet explorer.

Is there any reason that after I have installed win2k fresh, like I just did so about an hour ago, I still have that spyware running?

Right click on My computer ->properties, hit advanced, startup and recovery.

That is a common symptom of a major virus attack like blaster. Download a software firewall like Sygate, burn to cd, disconnect from internet, reformat, install firewall, put back on internet, patch windows, problem solved.

doesnt seem very likely at all! unless you installed over an old copy of windows.

Unpatched Win2k/XP systems will be compromised in a matter of minutes if they are online.

I have Win2k Service Pack 2. I will see what I can do. I never had this problem before. Sad to have ot go through it. I guess I never really realized this problem becuase my old place had Cable going through a router that had a built firewall, so I never really noticed these problems with my PC. now that I'm on a dail up it's dishearting to see all these windows related problems arise. I've never had to deal with this with my apple, and I've been using it for a good 5 years. I feel so naive about these dangers, just cause. =P
The answer to question two is that it is not spyware. Its a scripting error generated by The OS. It is nothing to worry about. Its been reported in various forums all over the web. In my research Its pretty conclusive that it is an error with Windows.

The message tells me to take note of a site where I can go to remove the spyware that has been installed in my system. But it's using a system pop up, not a browser pop up. I'll take a snapshot next time it happens. Speaking of Which how do I take a screen shot using windows? *hears everyone laugh at the mac guy* :D :D :D
On a side note I wanna thank everyone for their input, I'm waaaat more informed that I was this morning. Thanks everyone.

Question 1: My system asks me to choose from 2 installed win2k OSes when i only have 1
One of two reasons:
You have two Windows (or WinNT) folders under the C: drive, or
You have Windows installed on both of the hard drives you have in the computer
Regardless, you have to remember which one you choose when booting (either the first or the second), and then read the following (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;289022&Product=winxp). Even though the KB article is for XP, the solution is exactly the same for 2000.
Question 2: You Should Not See Me
Service Host (svchost.exe) is not spyware or malware in and of itself, though some malware can use the svchost.exe to run unbeknownst to the user. One fallacy you've fallen into is thinking that running IE is where all spyware gets into a system. Another is thinking that Firefox is immune. The trick is not installing questionable software (iMesh, Kazaa, anything that includes GAIN, etc.) and staying away from sites that will stick tracking cookies or using cross-domain content to deluge your computer with crap. FF doesn't have ActiveX, which means those types of exploits installing shit aren't able to get to Firefox (yet), but it doesn't make it immune.
What you are seeing, if popups are coming out of nowhere, is some software installed that has decided to bug the hell out of you. You might think you didn't install it, but one way or another—most likely with some plugin or separate program installed—you did.
Begin by reading this (http://arstechnica.com/articles/paedia/malware.ars).
Speaking of Which how do I take a screen shot using windows?
There should be a button on your keyboard that says "PrtScn / SysRq" on it. Press that button. Then, in your favorite image editing program, open a new project/template/workspace/whatever, and paste into it. Voila.
