scman.exe ticking me off

Ok this is so weird... this application from c:/windows/system32 called scman.exe is constantly turning on and then using my internet. Its so weird. I end task it but it always comes back. I renamed the file even and it still pops up. Ad Aware detects no spyware on my computer. What the hell is going on ?

Time for anti-virus and alternative spyware-busters...usually if it's bad, it'll put itself in the registry, most often lumped with benevolent programs under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Run....You can usually delete it from there and then delete the files afterwards. It might remain dormant in executables though, so be careful.
