XBL 2month subscription doesnt work..

I'm trying to setup a new XBL account so I can play Halo 2 online. The game came with a free 2 month subscription to xbox live, but it keeps saying the code is invalid. I've tried two so far...any ideas?
 
All you can really do is make sure it's entered right. Beyond that maybe you can call 1-800-4MYXBOX and they may give you a new code. Worth a shot. I have a bunch of codes from last year but they're expired now otherwise I'd give you one.

They are entered right...tried like 5 different times. Tried with cap locks on and off, and rechecked so many times. Donno what the problem is...someone from NVnews let me use thiers, but it doenst work. I think its a problem on my end.
 
Any ideas? Someone on another forum accused me of having a modded xbox, but mine is still untouched.
 
I remember there was a character that looked almost exactly the same as another character used in the code strings.

Perhaps it was the O's and 0's.
 
still cant get it to work ?? i might have another 2 month code around here if you need it .. PM me if you need it .. i will be out till later tonight .. but it is all yours if you want it
