Has anyone ever used this? How good are the drivers out today for the OS?

All i can find is old articles.

I ahve not tried it but I do not really reccomend it as there are no real advantages to it (as of yet) and it is still in beta.

Well it is free. I know anandtech had an article about it but that is almost a year old. So just wondering if the drivers have improved all that much.

All drivers are made by the manufacturer of the product. Windows 64 beta does not include any "Vanilla" drivers that work on all hardware. Most popular products have drivers, while stuff like tv tuners, usb adapter cards, cheap sound cards may not have 64 bit drivers. The operating system is not intended for every day use at all, but rather as a base for testing new software. I'd try it, but make sure you can download all the drivers for your machine first.

mmmHmmm. Correct. But how are the drivers? Are they still as bad as they were back a year ago. Or have they improved enought to the point where someone can actually play games in them?

Nvidia, ATI, Via. I know they all have disclaimers but just wondering if they at the point of acceptable?
