I am seeking a file recovery software that can anybody tell me the name of any package that when restoring the files can also give them their proper name back?
I tried a package from Ontrack, but it only saved the filenames for the files that were in the root of the drive. The rest were all directories and files that looked like results from scandisk after it finds bad files.
If you know any software that could either restore the original drive or get the files off the drive and keep their file and directory names I would appreciate a post.
