I have just installed Linux and everything works perfect. I have only 2 questions concerning Quake 3.
Punkbuster keeps telling me that I need to update the PB files. I manually updated the files but it still says this. Also, I want to run at a resolution of 1680x1050. The config file is in the pak file and I can't seem to edit the file. To recap, PB can't update and I want a resolution of 1680x1050.

you don't want to edit the config in the pak file. cd into ~/.q3a (notice the dot) then go under baseq3, and your copy of the config file is there.

Thank you sooooo much. This should also fix my pb problem as well. You are a god send. I really wish this issue was documented more on the web. I looked everywhere for this.

Well I got PB fixed but now I can't seem to use 1680x1050 as a resolution. Seems that Quake doesn't support it. :(

EDIT: Nevermind I fixed the problem :D
