i was setting up windows 98 on an older computer for someone, and i installed the ethernet card. after i rebooted, i got errors and it said these files were missing:

vnetsetup.vxd
vredir.vxd
dfs.vxd

wtf???? i tried uninstalling the ethernet card after that but i still got the errors. is there any way i could fix it without reinstalling windows?

search for the *.vxd files on the CD, if you can't find them, ask a friend w/ Win98 to send them too you (tell him/her to Find it on his/her HDD and xfer it to you)

if neither of those works, google for 'em.
