I've got this htpc, a gateway essential p3 933 w/ 384 megs of ram. I was thinking, could I drop a raid 5 card in there and make a 4 disk raid array? I want to make this machine a webserver / TV episode / mp3 server, and if I modded the front, I could fit 4 hard drives in there. There's a 90 watt PSU in it, would that be enough to power 4 HDDs / mobo / raid 5 card? It's a crap mobo, and it only recognizes 137 gigs of HDD space b/c of the outdated LBA features (I believe that's the problem), would that come into play in a 600 gig raid 5 array? (4x 200 gb hdds)

Thanks

PS, should this go in a diff. forum category?

90W? If that's not a typo, then the answer is a big, fat NO.

thanks, I was just contemplating what to do with it, I guess it will just be a webpage server, instead
