HD click click click click

Few seconds after a boot my computer, one of my HD clicks for about 20 seconds then stops. in the bios its recognized as some "maxtor draco" whatever that means. windows doesnt see it at all. is all hope lost for my data?

My WD SE 80GB did that for about a week, gave my delayed write errors, then I took it out to check the serial number for rma(forgot I bought oem) and stuck it back in and its worked evers since.
