i am tryin to format my computer. i used killdisk on c: and then i restarted it. i put a windows 98 start-up floppy disk in. i put the first boot to the floppy drive. and then started it up. it went a little longer w/ no results w/ the 98 start up floppy. i then got to the ms-dos screen :(  and typed in format c:. it then had the nerve to say "format not supported on drive c: format terminated" i probally left some things out bc im extreamly frustrated. if you need to know more ask and ill tell. i need to get this thing fixed tho. thanks

now it wants me to choose
1) create DOS partition or logical DOS drive
2) set active partition
3) delete partition or logical DOS drive
4) display partition information

3) create logical DOS drives in the extended DOS partition

no it's ok. Just choose # 1) Primary.
It will likely ask you after you choose that: if you would like to set the partition active: you DO
ok?
