This is the guide I have been using to slipstream... (http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstreamed_xpsp2_cd.htm)
Well when I get to the "Updating The Windows Share" I get the message update.exe has generated errors. I restarted my computer and still got it.
Two factors to consider aree that I am using an XP w/ SP1 CD and the system is a Windows 2000 system...

Just use nLite (http://nuhi.msfn.org/) and you will have no problems. You will have to have .Net installed for nLite to work.

Nothing's easier than AutoStreamer, plus it's free.

It creates an .iso file. You go into Nero, choose burn image, browse the the file, done.

I second that. I just stumbled upon that not too long ago. Very simple way to do it. It also is a nice program just to play around with as well.
