Either search Microsoft Support Knowledge Base with that code.

Or give us more info.
On your Hardware.
On your Software.
On the BSOD.

Download the UltimateBootCD and run through the hardware checks on it. You could also try MEMTest86 (I can't remember f that is on ultimatebootcd or not). Weird BSoDs are usually related to a hardware issue of some sort.

BSOD would happen when I left my compute ron for a long time. Like, 2 nights ago, I left it on, came down stairs, and its BSOD. (HARDWARE_CHECK_EXCEPTION)

Then, I left this HDR thingie, to see how hot my video card would get, and I left that on overnight.

Then thismorning, I was talking to people on AIM, and it did it.

Then i restarted, and just now when playing Counter Strike : Source, I went and jumped on a barrel and it froze.. then BSOD'd.

What kind of powersupply? You have a bunch of powerhungry peripherals, did you make sure to buy a brand name psu? I'd bet 5 internet dollars that the psu is to blame.

That bugcheck is special. It means your CPU had a hardware exception. The only time I have seen this is due to either a bad mobo, or bad CPU.

Machine check exceptions are frequently caused by one of the following conditions:

You are running the processor or mainboard beyond its specifications. For example, you are overclocking the processor or bus. We recommend that you run your hardware at the manufacturer-rated speeds.

Noisy power, overstressed power strips, outmatched power supplies and failing power supplies can destabilize your computer. Make sure that you have a stable, reliable power supply to your computer.

Extreme thermal conditions caused by the failure of cooling devices such as fans may damage your computer. Make sure that your cooling devices are all working.

You have damaged memory or memory that is not the correct type for your computer. If you recently changed the memory configuration, revert to the previous configuration to determine what is wrong. Make sure that you are using the correct memory for your computer.

update :

i can hear my hard drive like turn off.

then if i do anything that would like require the hard drive, my computer freezes, then it does the bsod..

is it the hard drive, or the power supply :/

Ditto, I have only seen that error for bad CPUs or mobo.

This will look Frankensteinish, but ...
* Get an AT PSU
* Plug your hard drive into it, instead of the one in the computer
* Turn it on just before turning on the computer
* See if that helps

Hahaha, I always though that made the computers look like they were mating...

You could use an ATX PS you would just have to jumper off the right pins with a paper clip.

Depends on if the other PS is separate or in another case, I guess. :D

Well, I have, for some reason, always done this with another working PS, and never one already outside a machine...

Maybe because I have mostly done this with ATX machines, and you don't have to use the paper clip as a jumper thing if it's still in a case.

Looks worse when you have multiple wires going back and forth (floppy/cd, whatever).

Ah, right. I have a stack of old PSUs lying around, but few computers-in-cases to spare.
Looks kind of like if you are trying to implant another organ, especially if you do two harddrives and a 3d card. :D

well, conclusion.. it is the power supply.

the computer just plained turned off on me, now it wont start back up.

it might have been just me, but i thought i smelled something, and i definitly hear a loud pop.

i'm ordering another psu.

what about this one? 580Watts.. That should be enough.. Right?

(The one I have now is 400Watts)

I doubt you need 580, but get a high quality 420-480 (antec, enermax, etc.) psu.

*Edit* Where's my 5 internet dollars?
