What do you guys do in the case of when you sell somebody something and they constantly bug you right after purchasing (Tracking # please, what is it I bought again, got any more specs/reviews?) to the point of where you have to devote all sorts of time to them, maybe more so than the damn deal is even worth?

LOL that's an interesting question. Try to stick it out until they receive their item. If they keep whining afterwards, then either refer them to HR, or your website or something that isn't you! ;)

tell them you dunno.... and in the case of complaining about shipping issues, I dont even care, I know I ship my items properly (I have TONS of anti-static bags, peanuts, proper sized box's, and more)

..that would probably depend on how bad you wanted to make a sale to this particular individual .
Maybe just tell them to look up their own reviews .. they should research product prior to purchasing anyways.
If they asking for tracking # and dont even know what they bought from you , then thats kind of messed up on their part .
..as far as providing a tracking # ...if you have one for them , then by all means give it to them, if you dont .....well ..then I guess you wont give them one :p

That is one of the draw backs of dealing with the General Public.
P.S... If that is the guy you just sold the dual PC4000 kit to, then tell him to not be a Dork and sell me the memory. ;)

Just ignore them (besides the tracking #). Sounds like a hyper little puppy on a mixture of crack and sugar. I think I tasted some cinnamon... and egg.
if u have his money, and given him a shipping #, tell him to use google.

Second, but it gets to a point where it's annoying and I tell them it's on the way and to stop bugging me

I have no advice on this one. Just wanted to let you know I go through it constantly:rolleyes:
I figure for future endeavors when this problem arises I will just be as polite as possible until its time to get nasty:D. I think it is just more an issue of folks around here needing to learn some patience when it comes to a deal going down.

if they ask when will it come and you shipped how they wanted...the cheapest and slowest, then tell them that if they wanted it 2nd day, they could ahve paid for air, but instead they wanted it as cheap as possible and the resulted in snail mail.
other than that, as long as you have done your end, gently inform them and ask them politely to stop sending emails/PMs in regards to stupid questions of when its going to arrive, etc.

The sad thing is, he asked for a tracking # after an entire day, when I said to give me 3 days to ship...I got him his tracking # and he kept asking more questions, so I blocked his AIM so I can have some peace for a damn change.

i fully understand. i had a recent deal here and the buyer keeps on bugging me asking me a bunch of trivial questions that could be answered quickly with a google search. i just ignore him after that and i didn't even bother to ask for heat cuz he was so annoying.

Well, it depends on the situation. If you said the product should be received on a certain day then it's alarming when the purchaser does not get it on that day. Also, it's the seller obligation to get the tracking numbers or at least explain why he does not have the tracking numbers when he claimed the products have been sent out. Other than that, I give one link for the review if I find it, if not then I just tell him I can't find any.
MX2times and OCTech, I hope you guys are not talking about me? :)

I actually had a person add me to their msn and started telling me to run out and ship, like he paid with paypal 10 minutes no joke. He also wanted me to ship with a faster method than we agreed to. He was rude and i wont deal with him again for sure. He said he needed teh item RIGHT AWAY! which is BS probably. But when the the buyer gets pushy or starts the be more than just a pest im tempted to refund their money and go else where.

i would answer the questions, then if the continue to haunt you with what you think are stupid questions, simply state that your end of the agreement was completed and you have done everything agreed upon, anything else like wasting time is not permitted and if they do not stop asking stupid questions and asking 'when is it going to get there' just simply state that you will block them. i always like to warn them before that, without a warning, they will get angry and will take it personally...if they didnt know already what they have done.

I would change your font to Hebrew or something and respond back with attached pictures of giant pickles .. by the time he figures out just what the heck kind of message you sent him ..he would have gotten his package and thus not bother you anymore :)
