Scammed by 96EKJDM - Chris Kahl

I bought a Canon Powershot S50 from this guy, and he "forgot" to send the AC adapter with it. Have emailed him numerous times, AIM messages, etc, he keeps ignoring me. I emailed the adminstrator at xtremesystems.org where he has an email account kurupt@xtremesystems.org. He has 2 emails that I know of, ebayitemdealer@hotmail.com and kurupt@xtremesystems.org.

Just to play devils advocate do you have the thread does he list that the adapter came with the camera i mean something him saying yes it comes with it or was it just figured it was ?

Why wouldn't it come with the A/C adapter, unless it was specifically said that it wouldn't come with it?

mosy digital cameras dont come with power adapters. unless its a digital camcorder.

some might come with a battery charger but alot fo them charge you an extra bucks for power adapters.
atleast mine was, hell mine was 50 bucks, i was extremely pissed too. uses an odd size pin plug with an odd voltage so i cant use one of those multi pin multi volt adapters from radio shack.

i never got an ac adapter with mine either , had to buy a docking stationto get a recharger. I have to say i wouldnt expect one with a camera unless it was stated

Its inconvenient, but not such a big deal. Go into your local camera place, and ask to see the adapter. It'll have its output in VDC and Amps, and you'll get an idea of the plug size. Go down to RadioShack (or Best Buy, Fry's, whatever you have close by), and by a universal plug pack that is rated the same.

The S50 does come with a battery charger....and you can't charge the battery through the camera....it's not the point that I can go out and buy another one....it's that I didn't get it with the camera, even though I would, then he said that he sent it, and now is ignoring me....

scammers suck.Damn I'm an idiot - yes they come with a battery charger, and the only way to charge the battery is by puttng it in the charger.

Without the battery charger the S50 is a REAL expensive paperweight.
