Doesnt' Windows normally change what the processor is listed as when the clock speed is raised? Back when I jacked my 2500+ to a 3200+ it said "AMD 3200+" where the "2500+" used to be. What did I do then? Why not now.

With the AMDs, overclocking will cause the actual clock speed to show, instead of the actual AMD processor designation. Not like this is a serious issue or anything, I would think that the actual frequency is more helpful than the designation, especially if you are overlclocking and gradually raising the clock and looking for temp/stability.

completely agree, with amd's naming scheme, it's a lot easier just to show actual clock speeds imho.

AMD's marketing division disagrees:p

I know it isn't a serious issue, but usually when I go to system properties, under General, where it lists your basic specs on the bottom, it used to get the AMD name correct too. Now it doesnt =(
Not a huge deal I guess.
