Windows Media Player?

I stream MP3 audio from my home to my desktop PC via remote desktop and when my windows media player has the nice little animated graphics going while the song is playing - it chops the audio up until I minimize the media player and then the MP3 sounds perfect. I am not sure if this is because I am doing this on 500MHz CPU or just via remote desktop but I was wondering how do I disable WMP to show those goofy animations when playing MP3's?

If you are using Windows Media Player 9, just right click the place were the visualization appears, and select "No Visualization". ^_^
