After building my new comp. I partitioned the hard drive, and have XP on both "C" and "E" drive. I accidentially install XP twice, and would like to get rid of the one on the "C" drive. I only use XP, which is on the "E" drive. In my boot.ini file I have it set up to boot the os off of the (2) operating system. And the time set to =0 and the statup. My question is. Is the computer looking at the drive"C" first, and then "E"? Although I have it set to run off the OS # 2. It usually takes about 50 or so sec to boot up into windows. Of course I would like to decrease the boot time. Any suggestions??
