windows explorer quits when trying to play media files

I tried to open a family guy ep from windows explorer and WMP opened then closed and i got an error saying the windows explorer needed to close. explorer would come back but the problem remains the same.

I would think something wrong with Windows Media PLayer. Try opening it up through Windows Mediaplayer.

yea it crashed when i opened the files through WMP also

Maybe there is something wrong with the file itself? Try redownloading it. That's probably the problem. Enless other files are making WMP crash too, then thats a seperate problem.

Does it crash when you open other files? Maybe its bad copy.

Do any other files cause this problem? It might be bad files or a malicious ripper :confused:
