Hey,

I Build systems and re sell and at the moment I currently get most of my parts at Newegg, Zipzoomfly or the lowest store on pricewatch.

I am now increasing my volume and I am interested in alternatives like becoming a official reseller. My current volume is about U$ 8k to 12k and I believe it will increase. I build a lot of systems locally. I will be opening a legal small business very soon and I would like to know from someone which has like a mortar and brick store or is in the same case as me which has some type of alternative. I do not buy large quantitys of the same products I generally pick randomnly)

What I want to know is:

- With my current volume can I get lower prices than big internet e-tailers sell?
- Is it easy to become a resseler from the top brands like: corsair, geil, ATI, evga, amd, intel etc. (I am not inetrested at credit I can pay in advance)?
- Do they ship fast enough or I would have to have products in stock to fulfill buiding time (7 business days)?

I already read on the manufacturers site most of the requirements and details for becoming resselers but I would like feedback from someone who deals with famous brands. Thanks a lot.

Ideally, you would want to deal with local wholesalers.

Ya, I know a few.

But obviously, you would want to deal with a LOCAL PLACE! NewEgg is a cheap retailer, but as soon as you start having to pay return shipping for defective merchandise your margins will start to shrink. A wholesaler will have most stuff in stock and handle most of the RMAs.
