As you see I have been here for a while and have sold and bought at this forum at least 10 times without any problems until last week..

I originally sold my BB ATI R9800Pro AIW on andatech like a week ago in order to get a little bit better and different video card....So I made a post on this forum looking for a 9800pro or better and 2 minutes later I get an IM message from [ elicit trust ] saying that he has a Hercules R9800XT for 200$ Shipped because all he plays was cs and he wanted a slower card and needed some money....So I figure good deal and ask him for his heat [I forgot his username] and he had 4 possitive heat evals and a big trade with a well know forum member here..So he didnt wanna ship first as i had 20 heat evals at the time so we agreed to cross ship...I was gona send 105$ and he the card and then when I recieve the card I send the other $100...So I go to the post office the next morning 07/06/04 and send out a money order with DC which was deliverd on

If you've got the phone number to where he lives, and then name of the town...call the local police if he refuses to talk to you. You've got alot of solid info on him, shouldn't be hard to track him down. Good luck, man...keep us updated.

You could always check and see if the money order has been cashed. You may lose out on a little bit of money, but if it hasn't been cashed you may be able to have them put a stop payment on it and just have them refund the money. I've done it with a Western Union money order before, but I'm not sure about Postal Money Orders, though.

This is from his aim profile. I say you start bothing his friends and let them know whats up. No one wants to be friends with a liar and a troll and a cheat.

Tell his friends that you are currently contacting the police, and if they dont want to see their friend in legal problems, refund the money or send the card. Peer pressure is an awesome thing sometimes.

Never admitted it was him but i knew it was. He blocked me on aim a bunch of times. Just keep bothering him for your money back. eventually it becomes not worth 105 dollars for him. search the net and see if you can find more personal info for him, a home phone number maybe and talk to his parents.

Well I sent the money order out to the Adress he gave me and the name he told me to send it too

I have The Delivery Confirmation # and Paper

I have the Top Part of the money order know as the Customer Reciept

And I have the postal reciept

I filled out something at the post office so I can see if the money order was cashed but it gona take 1-3 weeks to figure out

I filled out a claim to see if the money order was cashed because it was recieved...I should have a answer shortly !

Idk what else I need i got all the copies of the money order, Delivery Confirmation, Post office reciept and I will scan them and upload them.....

When the money order was deliverd on Friday which was the last time I heard from him he told me that he got the money order and that the Video card went out and gave me some fake tracking number didnt even say with which carrier it was.......

And he told me to write the money order to Charles which he said is his step dad but when I called a guy picked up and said that he wasnt there and the person who picked up was his buddy which was at work everytime I called......

A few times a girl picked up and when I Introduced my self she said hold on and I never heard from them

Now each time I call from my house no one picks up the phone but when I try from a cell phone or a friends house someone picks it up

First of all I sold my 9800Pro AIW on anandtech and the deal went somotthly so I was in the market for a new video card and I made a post here on hard WTB: Hercules 9800pro

So I get a AIM and he says I got something that ur looking for it not a pro but it a XT

So I ask him how much u want for it and hes like shoot me an offer and I said I was looking at 200-220$ to spend and after talking we agreed on 200$...

So I asked him why sell a great card for awsome price and he said because he only plays Counter-Strike and needed some money for his girlfriends birthday comming up so he didnt need a powerhouse of a video card and was gona downgrade to a FX5200

Also he was unemployed at the time I talked to him so idk how he has been working 40 hour weeks

And he just blocked me on my AIM when I asked about the status of the Video card !

I got no reason to make crap up I have been here for a while and have a good heat record !

UPDATE: I just got back my Inquiry from USPS to see if my MO was cashed and they sent me a photo copy of the mo and the reciept of being cashed on 07/09/04 which was the same day he recieved...

I just wanted to see if it got cashed and now am gona contact the local authorities :)
