adobe imageready

when i installed photoshop on to my computer, there was another program and it was called adobe imageready. what does this one do? it looks like photoshop. what does it doo>?????????? :confused:

Imageready is best known for anigif creation, seeing that it does a damn good job of it. Other than that, I've found no real use for it.
