Suggestions for Flight Sim controller

I picked up MS Flight Sim 2004 because it was on sale for $25 and now I need to get a controller. I was looking at the Saitek X45 (http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/x45.htm) and it looks pretty decent, but I wanted to check with you guys and see what you thought.

I don't have a controller right now so I'd like to get a nice one. $80 is my limit.

Oh, I'm running XP Pro if that makes any difference.

X45 is great for the money, but if you are willing to wait a little then the new X52 is due out soon, although it is likely to be more than your budget.

Yeah, I have an X45. It's a good stick. The X52 looks fun, but....it WILL be more expensive. And I've not had a complaint with the X45.

Oh and the other thing you want to get is IL2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles and the Ace's expansion pack for some World War II comabt action :)
