Just picked up a 160GB Samsung SATA HDD. Formatted and installed Windows. After Windows was up and running I installed the updates including SP1. It seems that I read somewhere that SP1 was supposed to be able to pick up drives over 130GB and recognize the correct size. Well mine is still at the damn 130 GB limit. It would be nice to be able to recover the other 50GB without having to go back in reformat and partition the drive to 2 80's. I ran the Maxtor Large Disk Enabler and it didn't work. Is there a way that I can get the drive to show up as what it should be? I really don't like partitions, don't really know why, and I would like to keep it as 160GB. I tried www.google.com and didn't find jack, I tried to search these forums and found the same, nothing. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
