for $150.00, no holds barred, you can find any # of options. Used SCSI, etc.

Personally, i'd get two 80gb Seagate SATA drives and stripe 'em in a RAID 0 array. (actually, i sell them for 75.00 a piece, so it works out perfect).

Seagate 200GB 7200.7 w 8MB buffer (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=22-148-032&depa=0), $136 with linear transfer speeds that compare well with the Raptor 36GB (http://www6.tomshardware.com/storage/20040209/seagate-04.html), but with a hell of a lot more space, without the Raptor 360's distinctive noises, and without a multiplied risk of failure due to striping.

The secret? This is the first production drive with 100GB platters :D
