Possible dead Burner??

Hi,

I installed an Optorite DVD Burner a few weeks ago. Everything was working great until last night. I was burning probably 20-30 CD-R's in succession and all of the sudden it just messed up... Nero stopped recognizing it. I rebooted hoping that would help. It didn't. So, I tried to do the add hardware wizard. Didn't work. I haven't tried pulling it out and trying in another computer yet that is my last resort as it will take a while. Oh yeah and the tray wont even open. No lights, no nothing.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do?

...Try another power connector? Otherwise, sounds like it died....

Yeah, shortly after posting I was like... Fk it. I'll try another power connector. Sure enough it worked.

Thanks though, u would have saved me anyway.
